I enjoy painting flowers while they are still growing, because I try to capture their vitality and energy. In this little painting, I was able to sit outside on a beautiful day and paint this enchanting hibiscus. With living flowers, I like to keep the painting fresh, with bold brushstrokes and the use of line.
