Earth Lava Pot- SOLD

I threw this pot on the wheel and heavily textured it for a rough, earthy feel. After the first firing, I stained the cavities and craters with black iron oxide, and then heavily layered different glazes to get the desired drippy / textured effect.

This is a one of a kind art piece created in my studio, by me.
