This very large painting was done after a visit to Scotland in which I got to ride the Jacobite train through some of the most beautiful scenery I’ve ever experienced. There are so many Scotland paintings in my head, just waiting to be painted. The lush green of the hills and wide open spaces, as well as the dramatic skies, are something I will never forget. I try and get back to Scotland as often as I can, as I find so much inspiration there.
